Airbus A321
I was making my return flight to Atlanta a couple years ago. It was my first time flying Spirit. I now know why they are so cheap. Like, everyone, I get to the airport ahead of time and get out to my gate. Just as I get there, I get a text from Spirit.
Your gate has changed and you are living for Atlanta at a later time. Well, damnit, I have to work in the morning and I have a 90 drive back home.
We kept getting moved and backed up. It was close to 2 hours later than the original departure. On a good note, they did ask for volunteers to take seats in the exit rows. Being 6'5" I like those, but I do not like spending extra to get them. I jumped right up and got one.
We finally get to board the plane, but we had to go outside. Last time boarded a plane outside was when I flew home from Navy Boot Camp in April of 1990.
I took this picture of the plane from the tarmac at O'Hare.
The color contrast was amazing.
Thank you all for reading and feel free to comment on anything.
